About us
The STEP Works Business Centre provides high quality business space in a purpose-built environment. Our friendly team provides a range of support services from those just starting in business to more established companies. We are uniquely placed to provide solutions to your business requirements.
Our managed workspace service allows you to concentrate on doing what you do best, running your business, not worrying about the everyday items that can prove to be so time consuming. We will help you to make your business a success.
Location and specifications
The STEP Works Business Centre is located in a pleasant setting by the Little Don river at Deepcar near Sheffield, the Centre provides an ideal setting for small businesses.
It comprises 11 large workshops of 550 square feet served by double doors opening onto the front yard, 9 smaller workshops of 300 square feet served from a central corridor and 12 offices ranging in size from 150 to 390 square feet set in a two storey block.
Accommodation
Also included in the Centre is a welcoming reception area, a resource area and a conference room which can accommodate up to 10 people boardroom style.
The Centre has a full security alarm system, and a CCTV system. The cost of this, along with the unit rent, building insurance and general maintenance is included in the licence fee.
The Centre is fully managed and also offers "pay as you use" facilities for resident businesses and casual users alike.
The Centre also offers an accommodation address service (virtual office) to give a professional image to small start-up businesses without the need to rent a unit.

The STEP Business Centre is your one stop shop for taking care of all the administration tasks that are a necessary part of modern business. Let our competent and friendly staff take the burden of paperwork off your hands so that you can concentrate on your business.
We can type your documents and correspondence to your requirements. We can handle a wide variety of documents including reports, spreadsheets, databases, mailshots, and labels.
We offer an A5, A4, A3 laminating service and why not let us bind your documents with our ring binder for that professional touch.
We will answer a telephone number with your company name and take messages for you as though you were 'out of the office' or 'engaged in a meeting' etc. In the evenings you can divert your calls to your own personal voice mail box.
