About us

STEP Childcare is a 52 place nursery, that has been delivering high quality childcare for over 15 years. We offer childcare for children between the age of 6 months to 4 years old. We achieve this by creating a positive environment in which everyone can feel safe, confident and happy.



Our Nursery

We pride ourselves that STEP Childcare Nursery is a place that is welcoming and caters for Children of all groups regardless of colour, creed or academic levels.

We follow the Early Years Foundation stage and provide activities that follow the children’s interests are fun, and provide excellent learning opportunities for children to reach there next steps in development.

Trained Staff

Karen Hibberd is the STEP Childcare Nursery Manager. She is dedicated, fully qualified and experienced in all aspects of Child care and Nursery work.

The Nursery has 15 fully trained Nursery staff.

Health and Safety

At STEP Childcare we believe children learn health habits early.  We provide a range of health meals and snacks during the day.  This is an opportunity where children are able to develop there own independence skills.

The nursery is equipped to support the individual needs of the children with potty’s, toilets and nappy changing areas available.
