STEP Pathways helps people in the Steel Valley take positive steps toward employment, skills and confidence. Whether you’re returning to work, looking for your first job, or exploring a new direction, we’re here to support you every step of the way.
 

We offer one-to-one guidance, CV and application support, interview preparation, confidence building, and help finding training or volunteering opportunities. We work closely with local employers and partners to connect people with real job opportunities that match their skills and goals.

We understand that money can often be a barrier to getting into work. So where needed, we can also help with travel costs, work clothing/uniforms, and essential equipment to ensure everyone has what they need to succeed.
 

Our approach is friendly, practical and tailored to each person. There’s no judgement, no pressure — just the right support, at the right pace, to help you move forward. If you’re unsure where to start, or you’ve been out of work for a while, we’ll help you regain confidence and focus.
